An asset register.
More than an online device list.

An equipment estate needs more than a list of devices that are currently online. AssetTrackDirect focuses on the asset record: what the equipment is, where it belongs and what has happened to it. Bring laptops, desktops, servers, network equipment and other IT assets into an organised inventory, including equipment in use, in stock or awaiting its next step. Define the records, ownership and update process around the way your MSP manages customer equipment. The system can be white-labelled and resold, with customer setup, data preparation and support responsibilities agreed before rollout.

An inventory built around the estate

The right records.
A repeatable way to maintain them.

FIELD / 01

An IT equipment register

Organise the IT assets you need to manage in a common inventory. Agree the records and fields required for laptops, desktops, servers, networking and other equipment in your customer estate.

FIELD / 02

Equipment details in context

Keep useful identifying information with each record, such as make, model, serial number and an asset reference. The agreed data structure helps the team distinguish equipment and maintain a usable register.

FIELD / 03

Locations and assignments

Record where equipment belongs and who or what it is assigned to. A defined update process helps keep ownership, site and handover information useful as assets move between people or locations.

FIELD / 04

A visible equipment lifecycle

Track equipment through the stages your service uses, such as stock, issued, repair and retired. Agree the lifecycle and who updates each record so the inventory reflects the operation.

FIELD / 05

A starting point for planning

Use the asset records to support refresh, replacement and warranty conversations. Purchase and cover details can form part of the agreed record structure, alongside the information your team needs to plan the estate.

FIELD / 06

A branded inventory offering

White-label and resell asset management under your own MSP brand. Agree customer setup, initial data preparation, record responsibilities and technical escalation as part of the partner arrangement.

Your partner proposition

Bring the equipment estate into view.

01

Know a customer’s equipment estate

Bring devices and infrastructure into a structured register, with locations, ownership and a clear process for maintaining the records.

02

Manage stock and handovers

Record equipment waiting to be issued, assigned to a user, in repair or ready to retire, using lifecycle stages agreed for the service.

03

Connect purchases with ongoing care

Discuss asset records alongside ProcurementDirect and WarrantyDirect so new equipment, inventory responsibilities and cover are considered together.

From scope to rollout

Define. Prepare.
Assign. Maintain.

  1. 01

    Define the asset scope

Agree the customers, equipment categories, records and lifecycle stages your inventory needs.

  2. 02

    Prepare the starting data

Review existing equipment lists and define how records will be prepared and introduced into the agreed setup.

  3. 03

    Assign ownership

Confirm who maintains records, updates assignments and handles equipment movements or handovers.

  4. 04

    Introduce the workflow

Guide the team through the agreed inventory process, then review how the records support ongoing equipment management.

How is AssetTrackDirect different from DeviceControlDirect?

AssetTrackDirect is for IT inventory, equipment records, assignments and lifecycle management. DeviceControlDirect is the separate RMM-style service for managing endpoints. They address different parts of the equipment operation.

Is it the same as NetWatchDirect network discovery?

No. NetWatchDirect scans networks to find devices and ports. AssetTrackDirect is the inventory and asset management system, including records for equipment that may be offline, in stock or retired. Any data exchange between systems is reviewed during scoping.

Which equipment can we include?

The asset scope can include laptops, desktops, servers, switches, Wi-Fi equipment and other IT assets. We agree the equipment categories and record fields around the inventory you need to maintain.

Can it use our existing equipment lists?

Bring your current lists to the scoping discussion. We review the information available, the record structure and how starting data will be prepared. Any import or integration requirements are confirmed in the proposal.

Can our MSP resell it under our own brand?

Yes. AssetTrackDirect is available for white-labelling and resale, with branding, customer onboarding, data responsibilities and technical escalation agreed before rollout.
